This year our Batizado will be lead by Mestranda Edna Lima. Capoeristas are welcome to join our workshops on friday 12 and saturday 13 March. On sunday everybody is welcome to join us in the Batizado where we will change ropes. Download flyer
On the 9th of January we had our New Years Roda in the gymnasium at the Schiedamse Vest. Thanks to all members, guests and parent who made it a wonderfull day.
During the Chrismas holiday all classes will continue. The only days that the classes will be cancelled are the following: 25, 26 December, 1 and 2 Januari. On 8 January there won’t be a class either, because of the New Years roda on the 9th of January.
Next to Ponteira and Neguinho, we now have a new trainer: professor Esquilo. He is a very experienced and complete capoerista. He wonthe Brasilian Championship in 1997 and wrote many famous Capoeira songs.
During the weekend of 20-22 March ABADÁ Capoeira Netherlands held the Dutch Batizado 2009. Many capoeristas from Germany, France, Belgium, Portugal, Swiss and, of course Brasil joined us in our annual event. Mestrando Charm directed many workshops on Friday and Saturday and the Batizado on Sunday.
That weekend capoeristas from all over the world will come to Rotterdam for our BAtizado, led by Mestrando Charm Friday and Saturday workshops. Public can join in our Batizado on sunday.
